About this museum and its collection

The museum is the national repository of Holland’s journalistic heritage. It has a large collection of newspapers and periodicals dating back to 1600, a collection of advertisements relating to the press and a collection of (original) political drawings. Numerous archives and photos linked to journalists and professional journalism and a library also feature at the museum.
