About this museum and its collection

The museum specialises in modern and contemporary ceramics and jewellery. Both international collections include unique works by artists as well as serially manufactured items. The emphasis is on work produced after 1945 by major figures such as Pablo Picasso and Alessandro Mendini, leading Dutch personalities such as Gijs Bakker and Hella Jongerius, as well as promising young designers in the region.
