Result of this investigation
The museum reports that none of its objects have problematic provenance. Its collection is based on a series of gifts and much of today’s collection comprises loans. A number of seventeenth-, nineteenth- and twentieth-century paintings have been on loan from RCE Cultural Heritage Agency since 2003. Investigators checked annual reports, museum catalogues, the registration system and historical object cards.
