None of the objects in this museum have problematic provenance.

Result of this investigation

De Looierij, previously known as Dongha Museum, reports that investigators found no objects with problematic provenance after checking the registration system. The electronic objects are largely from a private collection that the museum acquired; the collector did not record the provenance of these objects. All the other electronic objects were donated. The report explains that hardly any objects in the collection fall within the parameters of the investigation.

About this museum and its collection

Set in a historical tannery, the museum displays the tanning process and the life that the tanners led. It also tells the story of the Barabant village of Dongen and the surrounding region. In addition, the museum features a collection of electronic objects, especially domestic appliances from 1850-1960 and a series of archaeological finds from excavations at a neighbouring castle.
