About this museum and its collection
Epema State is a seventeenth-century house in the Frisian village of Ijsbrechtum, built in 1625. For many years, it was the home of various noblemen of Wymbritseradeel, such as Baron Sjuck van Burmania Rengers. The museum presents furniture and paintings of previous centuries.
